Here's what's happening with Miss Kin at 14 months:
She's loving walking. Has moved on to actual running. Most of the time when she falls, which is often, she picks herself up brushes off her hands and keeps on going. She loves to play outside. She cries if you go out without her or when it's time to come inside. Music is great. Anytime a phone rings or a song starts on the tv she breaks it down. Walk the Line c.d. is still her favorite. We play it in the car when she's being fussy and she starts clapping. She's added climbing to her skills and loves to sit on the sofa.
Daddy or diddy as it often sounds has replaced Bailey and Macy as her favorite companion and word to say. She's added words like eat, shoes, and whoa to her never ending jabber. She also tells the dogs to move, points or wags her finger at you (especially when you tell her not to do something) and laughs when she burps. We might need to start working on those manners...
Miss Kin still only has 4 teeth, but man are they cute! Random strangers stop to talk to us about them.
I know she could be eating more foods at this point, but as long as she's happy to be eating plain diced vegetables and fruits I'll keep feeding them to her instead of chicken nuggets and french fries. We do however allow her to try things like the frozen lemonade that was a hit and the hot dog and french fries at the Varsity. Her favorite for awhile there was meat sticks (YUCK!) and pasta pick ups. She points and signs more when she sees snacks out on the counter or says mmmm when you're eating something she wants. We're working on eating with utensils but don't get much in. She does love her some grits and eggs for breakfast. Okay, so that was a lot to say! Sorry if I bored you. I'm sure next month will be a quicker update now that we're all caught up. Who knows she may be reading by then. LOL!
I like hearing what Miss Kin is up to so never boring to me :)
