Beach Bound

The Bells hit the road yesterday morning headed for the beach. We decided to try bringing along a portable dvd player since Kinley doesn't sleep as much in the car anymore. Can you tell she liked it at first?

She was quite the zombie. It didn't last long...she alternated between being content to watch it, eating snacks and just all out screaming. She slept maybe an hour of the 6 hour trip. So when we got here we put her down for a nap and sat out on the balcony to enjoy some peace and quiet. After nap time and dinner we hit the beach for a walk. It is Kinley's first time at the beach, so we wanted to see what she thought of it.Not so sure at first but after Daddy carried her the first half of the walk, she had decided she'd give it a try. She really loved splashing in the puddles that were left after the waves.
First thing this morning before it got too hot or too crowded we hit the beach again...Here's what she thought of it after having a good night's rest.We'll definitely have to get the video out because it's the cutest stinking thing. She giggles the whole time.
After the beach we tested out the lazy river. She wasn't very thrilled with it until she changed suits and floats. Then she nearly fell asleep as we floated around.
One thing's for sure, she definitely will have no problems sleeping this week!
